Projektbeschreibung
The Special Issue "The Digital Age: A Crossroad for Religious Education" explores how digital culture, artificial intelligence, and emerging technologies are transforming religious education. It brings together theoretical and empirical contributions addressing religious knowledge and authority, AI-generated religious content, digital teaching and learning practices, teachers’ professional competencies, and the ethical, theological, and pedagogical implications of digital transformation. Particular emphasis is placed on advancing subject-specific research approaches and didactic models for religious education in digital contexts.
