The main question is if, social pedagogy and/or social work education needs to focus more attention on both the importance of spiritual and religious beliefs in the lives of many service users and on the potential usefulness of religious and spiritual interventions, on organizational work and processes/institutional development.

The purpose of this study is to assess the effects of spiritual/religious aspects and their interactions with biopsychosocial symptoms on social care, social work, health care and their impact on use of services, and life satisfaction among primary clients; development of the concept for spiritual assessment.

B. Spirituality/Mindfulness and Religion in Governmental and Non -governmental Social Service Agencies

Religion and spirituality/mindfulness social workers are often not sure if it is helpful to bring religion/spirituality into the helping process, even if clients mention their faith orientation, because of concern of the separation of church and state other circumstances. It will be proof if there is necessity to develop new organizational and conceptual strategies. In Christian agencies, there is an expectation by the leadership and clients that a Christian framework will be used in the work and therapy process.
