Forschungsprojekt ::
Feasibility Pilot on the integration of brief, group-based alcohol-related interventions into community mental health services in Northern Uganda

Projektbeschreibung

This project intends to address the general lack of mental health service provision in the field of substance use disorders in low and middle income countries. We will adapt and evaluate time- and cost-efficient group-based intervention formats targeting alcohol use. While assessing their impact on alcohol use and related symptoms, we are especially interested in their potential effect on the perpetration of violence against partners and children.
