The issue of research on youth aggression and violence has been pushed to the forefront with the recognition that prevention is the most effective strategy for reducing youth aggression and violence. Longtime project tries to investigate what kind of influences are in the school and community as well as which establish enduring patterns of aggressive and violent behavior. Study 1: School factors as organizational culture and social climate, school involvement are researched with individual impact and differences.
Research examined the impact of emotional empathy on the attitudes children and youth. Study 2 evaluated the relationship between empathy and attitudes towards different conflict situation. Study 3 examined the influence of spirituality, self-awareness on attitudes towards the different social context, looking for a norm of inclusion versus exclusion.
We consider that resilience is the cornerstone of any strong and lasting social live. The project focus is to empower youth and school to strengthen their resilience in the face of violent extremism. The practical issue is to develop sustainable and inclusive resilience of youth at school and in the society.
